Yamakny.com was created on the advice of thousands of our customers who over the past 5 years have visited our Greenvillage store. We opened in 2000 and featured many of the original designs of the owner of Yamak, Kanako Morino Mirenda. She was a young designer who had worked 10 years in the fashion industry and had a dream of opening her own store. After a short time her designs quickly sold out and the rapid success of the store inspired her to also carry other designers, both local and foreign, who had a special style unique to Yamak. Now, when shopping at Yamak you will find a mixture of local, domestic, European and Japanese styles, many from designers that sell exclusively to our store.You will love the diversity of the clothing, jewelry, hats, handbags and accessories many of which you will not see in other boutiques, along with the new collections from your favorite designers.

Over the past years our designs have been promoted in woman magazines, feathered on VH1, and listed as a Hidden Treasure twice in the Sunday addition of the New York Daily News. We have consistently been listed as one of the best stores to shop in New York City by the New York Magizine and have been frequented by stylists from the movies, theater and television.
